چکیده

Phase transitions in the early universe are prime settings for the production of primordial black holes, since they can break the relatively quiescent homogeneity and isotropy of Friedmann–Robertson–Walker (FRW) cosmologies. These epochs of “symmetry breaking,” moreover, can affect the subsequent development of spacetime by changing the evolution of some FRW parameters, including the present age and density of the universe. We discuss the relative importance of such effects on constraining mechanisms of black hole formation.

We review some of the expectations for Primordial Black Hole evaporation and we review the properties of short Gamma Ray Bursts. It is plausible that these GRB come from PBH evaporation. We then show that the angular distribution asymmetry recently observed by us could be due to a concentration of PBH in the Galactic Arms like the Orion arm.

The analysis of the CMB anisotropies is a rich source of cosmological informations. In our study, we simulated the signals produced by the relics of a first order phase transition occured during an inflationary epoch in the early Universe. These relics are bubbles of true vacuum that leave a characteristic non-Gaussian imprint on the CMB. We use different statistical estimators in order to eval...

The Hubble Space Telescope (HST), in its thirteen years of operation, has allowed us to observe properties of the universe humans have been able, until very recently, to probe only with their thoughts. This review presents a brief summary of a few of the highlights of HST discoveries, discusses their physical implications, and identifies unsolved problems. A broad range of topics is covered, fr...

An inhomogeneous cosmology describing a spacetime without symmetry is shown to be able to inflate the early universe and explain the late-time acceleration of the universe without a cosmological constant and negative pressure dark energy and avoid the coincidence problem. e-mail: [email protected]
